Wildcrafted Gold Raw Sea Moss
Our Wildcrafted Sea Moss is sustainably harvested from the pristine, crystal-clear waters of St. Lucia. This exceptional sea moss is a treasure trove of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that elevate your immune function, enhance digestion, and promote overall well-being.
Our wildcrafted sea moss is meticulously gathered by hand, honoring traditional methods that maintain the plant’s natural integrity and potency. After harvesting, it is gently washed, sun-dried, and thoughtfully packaged to ensure the highest level of freshness and purity.
Please note: our moss has NO salt residue and is completely dry. This means you get much more for moss for the weight. Most moss comes covered in heavy salt, not all the way dried, leading to less moss volume.
Sea moss is celebrated for its myriad of health benefits. It supports a robust immune system, aids in digestive health, enhances skin vitality, and boosts overall energy levels. Rich in iodine, potassium, calcium, and other essential nutrients, sea moss naturally nourishes your body and elevates your wellness.
With its subtle flavor and jello-like texture, our St. Lucia raw wildcrafted sea moss effortlessly integrates into various recipes. We love using sea moss gel in smoothies as a nutritious thickener and desserts like raw vegan cheesecakes and frosting to provide a light airy texture and natural stabilizer.
At 5D Foods, we harness the power of sea moss in our 5D Superfood Bars and other delectable creations like cheesecakes and frostings, bringing you the ultimate blend of texture and nutrition.
Whether you're seeking a boost in energy, digestive support, or immune reinforcement, this ancient superfood is an indispensable addition to a health-conscious lifestyle.
Directions for use:
- 1 cup soaked Irish moss (about 1/2 cup before soaking)
- 2 cups water (for blending)
- Begin by rinsing the moss under cold water to get off any salt residue that may be present.
- In a large mixing bowl, cover the moss with water and let soak on the counter for 2-6 hours. The moss will get double in size and become a plump cream-white/yellow color. Rinse under cold water again.
- Start by chopping the moss into small pieces (this will make it easier to blend) and blend in a high-speed blender on high until completely smooth. (Note: this will not produce the same texture in a regular blender). Rubbing some of the paste between your fingers should be smooth. If you feel any lumps/grains continue blending. *if you don’t blend it enough, it won’t set up.
- The paste will last in a glass jar refrigerated for up to 7 days
*The gel can also be used as a fat-free substitute for oil (try replacing 1/2 the oil in a recipe).
